Germany 2011 - Preview

German football has become a firm favourite here and Bar and In HQ so after our tour in November 2010 we have only gone and decided that we liked it so much, we're going for another. We'll be back in the football-ravaged state that is North Rhine-Westphalia for three (hopefully) cracking matches spread over three days commencing with Fortuna Dusseldorf at home to Dynamo Dresden in the LTU Arena on Friday November 4th.

Based in Dortmund for the duration of our stay we will of course be dropping in at the famous Signal Iduna park to watch the current holders of the Bundesliga title face Wolfsburg on the saturday in whats set to be a sell-out if Borussia's attendance figures for this season are anything to go by.

Sunday is meant to be a day of rest for Germans and even god had the day off once upon a time, but not us...ooooh no. We'll be up bright and early for the merry trek down to the Dutch/Belgian border to sample a local-ish derby of sorts between Alemannia Aachen, in their brand new one-season old stadium New Tivoli, and MSV Duisburg.

Plenty of yellow, plenty of football, its going to be quite a trip. Match reports, photo's and witty commentary will follow as standard, auf wiedersehen...
